Message from Founder of Kinfarm C.B.O Mothers Farm
This study was carried out in Kinondo village under Kinfarm Community Based
Organization (KINFARM). The project involved establishment of chicken micro
enterprise and savings and credit scheme for 20 Kinondo women. Need assessment
study results conducted in September, 2022 revealed that the community is faced with a
problem of low household income, which is of greater concern to the whole community.
Low income is a result of many and often mutually reinforcing factors including poor
crop yield due to prolonged drought, poor soils, and crop diseases.
